Listen . . . I’m not going to make this about “Muslim.”

ANY “cross-cultural” marriage is very hard.

I lived in Japan and I never saw a “good” marriage between a Japanese and an American. It did not matter the gender . . . male Japanese or female Japanese . . . . still . . . BAD marriage.

Marriage, even with people of the SAME culture and the SAME religion . . . has a 50% divorce rate . . .

Now, on that 50% / 50% percentage . . . you’re going to add a HUGE difference . . . . .

I am sure he is a nice guy . . and you love him . . .but it is going to be a TRAIN-WRECK

Yes she can. A Muslim man (widowed or not) is allowed to marry any Christian, Jew or Muslim woman. The Muslim ceremony is known as Nikkah.

from what I know of Isalm, in order for a Muslim to marry, the person they are marring must either alread be Muslim or convert to Islam as they are not allowed to marry somoene outside of their religion.

It will also depend on how Strict the sect is this man belongs to , out of the 3 majors sects one is extremly strict on its views.

Good Luck

Yes, any Muslim man is allowed to marry from good women of the people of the book: usually these are identified as the Jews and Christians.

basically a man is not allowed to marry a woman without a code of conduct as a family does not survive without morality.
A Muslim man will respect and protect the other woman, he should not force her to adopt his beliefs and she is expected to respect his beliefs, etc.

a Muslim woman on the other hand cannot marry a non-muslim because she is not entrusted that that person will respect and protect her and will not introduce moral conduct that is not suitable for a muslim woman, and in this case she suffers and her faith is endangered.
